Providing a range of classes from complete beginners to Sussex and Regional Performers, Aged 4.5 – 16 years.
We recognise talent and encourage good physical and mental wellbeing in all our gymnasts and coaches.
All our coaches are British Gymnastics qualified, we participate in General, Women’s, Preschool and Display Festivals.

Our Welfare Officer is trained to British Gymnastics standards. One of our lead coaches has also up-to date training on Welfare.
Every coach and member of staff who works with children holds a current enhanced check through British Gymnastics.
Our gymnasts participate in an enjoyable safe environment through structured instruction in many key developmental areas. The club provides a range of classes from beginner level through to competitive.
Through our sessions all members can participate on apparatus including bars, beams, floor, vault and air track to develop and progress their skills which gives every child the opportunity to reach their individual potential in gymnastics. We also work towards gymnastic awards and offer chance to take part in club events throughout the year.
We host two competitions each year to raise funds for the club for new equipment and annually support two charities, Crohns & Colitis UK and a local children’s charity — The Snowdrop Trust.

Children should wear leotard and/or shorts and t-shirt. For safety reasons no jewellery and long hair tied back and please bring a water bottle to training. We do provide club T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, also training and competition leotards if required. Please contact us for any requirements.

Our passion is to provide a sense of belonging for our gymnasts through regular sessions of all levels and ability. The smiles, wobbles, the little wins, positive energy and encouragement are all things we recognise as important to developing your gymnasts in our classes. We care about their journey with us — as much as you.
At Westgate Gymnastics we provide many action packed day camps throughout the holidays, attend competitions throughout the year including Sussex, Regional, Invitationals events held by other clubs and also participate in upcoming festivals throughout the year.
